Even Mark Zuckerberg stresses over team "drama"

Tension on your team keeping you up at night? You aren’t the only one! Even the most experienced managers struggle with the discomfort of team “drama.”

I was listening to an interview with Mark Zuckerberg on the Lex Fridman Podcast #383 and my ears perked up when Mark shared the thing that is the most challenging for him as a CEO - tension within the executive team. (I captured the clip on my Instagram feed here of you want to listen.)

It is totally normal to :
🏃‍♀️ want to run the other direction
😵‍💫 loop mentally as anxiety creeps up
👷 try to over-engineer the perfect solution or conversation that will fix everything
🗣️ seek outside guidance on the best way to handle things

You may have tried some things that haven’t helped, like:
🙉 pretending like things are fine and hope it gets better on its own
🔄 having the same conversations over and over again
👮‍♂️ try to force peace before folks are really ready or without resolving the underlying problem

If that’s you, don’t worry. I’ve helped lots of stressed-out managers fix this exact problem through my coaching programs.

I’m leading a free exploration of common problems teams run into in December to help you get more clear. Look for more info on my social accounts and the blog, or DM me “team tension” to join in.
