We Respond Differently to Stress
How we respond to stress has a lot to do with learned patterns of behaviors that become unconscious responses over time. Our brain is so efficient that it has automated certain behaviors that have helped us survive. But these responses may not always be beneficial. The COVID-19 outbreak gives us an opportunity to check-in with ourselves and attune to what we really need at this moment, to build our physical capacity to be resilient in times of stress, and to get more familiar with our authentic selves and inherent strengths.
